Personality is best revealed through deeds.
An artist who has
selflessly passed a thorny path works with sincere dedication, investing all
his effors in his work, treats his work as a deity, a preacher, employing
every particle of his essence.
His creative life was all
to short: only 13 years. A person of limitless imagination and willpower, he
was in constant search for self-expression. He tried to make up for the lost
years but he also realized that ultimate goal could never be achieved
without self-sacrifice, hard work and continuous self-reform.
Only a few compositions
were executed during his lifetime but even these were sufficient to attract
international attention.
He did not witness any of
his symphonies performed.
The record of Death
symphonic poem performed in Novosibirsk was received only after his death.
He was so anxious to see his Requiem Trionfale performed but it was
executed on the day of his funeral. Did he foresee his death? If h e did,
that is why he called the piece "Triumphal". To win and never give up: that
was his essence.
I have come to this
world... I have created... I leave this world...
For sure, I would like to
see him with grayer hair, but what really matters is what one leaves after
death...
All we need to do is to
open the doors of our inner world and try to perceive the essence of the
artist. Music is the philosophy of spirit.
Nothing and nobody can present an
artist better than his creations ... |
